PurePower
has completed preliminary planning for the largest fuel cell power
generation plant to date (50MW), having proven the economics of
powering a gas compression station for Iroquois Gas Transmission
Systems, Inc. (IGTS) PurePower is now in the planning and financing
stages to build and operate this facility, whose surplus power will
be sold to the utility market. PurePower is competing for a $1.6
million Connecticut State planning grant, with the blessing of state
officials.
PurePower has been hired by CRT, a $30 million Hartford agency
to conduct a preliminary feasibility analysis for a 250-500KW distributed
generation application.
PurePower has been in negotiation with Hartford Hospital to plan
and manage a 1-2MW fuel cell power generation installation in a
new building addition that is currently in its design stage
PurePower is working with the Waterkeeper Alliance to recommend
renewable generation technologies technology for a village generation
project in Punta Abre Ojos, Mexico.
